About Calvin J Smith
I am a freelance designer living in central California. I have been working Smith & Co. studios for about 7 years creating posters, displays, banners, websites, and all sorts of things. I have been designing in Photoshop for 10 years. I am also proficient using Illustrator, Flash, and InDesign. I am also learning about Search Engine Optimization, and different aspects of Online Marketing.
I have been designing websites for about 3 years. Everything new that I learn in the books that I read and the classes that I take I apply to all of the websites I have worked on.
I do have a life away from my design work though. I am also a Kung Fu artist, an avid Badminton player and a very health-conscious person. I am also a self-improvement book and audiobook devourer. I love learning new things, both personally and professionally, that enhance my life.
